Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hanifi Parlar graduated from Marmara University, Department of Biology Teaching in 1992. He completed his master's degree at Yeditepe University Institute of Social Sciences in the field of "Education and Management Supervision" and completed his PhD in the same subject at Marmara University in 2012. His other interests are "School Development", "Educational Organization Development", "Strategic Planning in Schools", "Critical and Analytical Thinking in Education", "Teacher Training", "Classroom Management and Practices", "Innovation and Transformation in Education", "Private School Management".

In addition to his academic career, Assoc. Prof. Parlar worked also as a teacher, school principal, coordinator of Erasmus office, education and management consultant, etc.
