The academic panel and book launch event titled “State Policies and Modernization in Turkish Educational History from the 19th Century to the Present”, organized by our School of Education, Department of History, and the Turkish Educational History Platform, will take place on June 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Media and Events Center Event Hall. Moderated by Prof. Özcan Erkan Akgün, the panel will feature Prof. Mustafa Gündüz, Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Aksu, and Dr. Vehbi Baysan as speakers. The book titled “Education and State Policy in the Nineteenth Century Ottoman Empire” will be introduced during the event.
