On June 19, 2025, a training session titled “AI-Supported Technology Use in Research and Teaching” was held at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University’s (IZU) Halkalı Campus. Organized by the IZU Center for Teaching and Learning Development (IZU-ÖGEM), the program was conducted with the contributions of Dr. Mehmet Akın Bulut, faculty member of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Head of the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling. The session provided participants with in-depth insights on how artificial intelligence can be effectively utilized in both educational and research settings.
Dr. Bulut addressed how AI can become a powerful tool in education and how it can be used more effectively in academic research. He focused on the integration of AI into teaching and research processes, highlighting the resulting increase in efficiency and the opportunities it offers.
The seminar not only aimed to raise awareness among academics about modern technologies but also to enhance their ability to integrate these technologies into pedagogical and research-based processes.
