The MEZUNX event, organized in collaboration with Ibn Haldun University’s School of Education and the Informatics and Educational Technologies Club, was held on Tuesday, November 25, at 13:30 in the Media and Event Center’s Event Hall. At the event, our alumni—Ebrar Kevser Katırcı, who serves as a Specialist Psychological Counselor at Palet Schools; Niyazi Cem Ödemiş and Abdullah Ortak, who work as Research Unit Officers at the Türkiye Maarif Foundation; and Halise Merve Samur, who serves as a Research Assistant at Boğaziçi University—came together with our students to share their academic experiences, career journeys, and current sectoral perspectives.
The speakers shared how they developed both academically and socially during their student years, explaining how these experiences shaped their career paths. By discussing the steps they went through during their job application processes and giving examples from the projects they work on in their respective institutions, they offered students an inspiring perspective. Throughout the event, an engaging atmosphere of communication was established between our alumni and students; during the Q&A sessions, valuable advice on career planning was shared.
As the School of Education, we emphasize that such events, which bring together our alumni and students, make significant contributions to academic and sectoral career development. We extend our sincere thanks to all our alumni and students who participated in the event.
