Assist. Prof. Thseen Nazir, a faculty member at Ibn Haldun University’s School of Education, successfully completed the academic staff exchange program at the Department of Psychology and Correctional Pedagogy of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University within the framework of the Orhun Exchange Program.
During his visit, Dr. Nazir delivered a series of lectures and interactive seminars designed to foster critical thinking and active participation among students. In these sessions, he addressed several current and significant topics, including the latest trends, challenges, and future implications of artificial intelligence in education; innovative counseling approaches and emerging trends in the field; mental health issues observed among students with a particular focus on support and prevention strategies; as well as the phenomenon of “phubbing” and its psychological and social consequences.
Through these academic engagements, Dr. Nazir not only shared expertise but also fostered meaningful dialogue, enriching students’ learning experiences and strengthening academic collaboration between the two institutions.
