School of Education Graduates Join the Global Teachers for a Sustainable Future (COIL) Program
School of Education has opened a valuable door for professional development by joining the COIL Program, which aims to integrate sustainability and a global perspective into teaching practices.

As part of the Erasmus+ KA2 Project, our faculty is participating in the “Global Teachers for a Sustainable Future (COIL) Program”, offering a significant international learning opportunity for our graduates.

With contributions from our faculty members Dr. Mehmet Akın Bulut (Head of Department), Dr. Adem Yurdunkulu, Research Assistant / PhD Student Nurevşah Kaya, and Academic Support Staff Dilara Yıldırım, this program provides a professional development journey focused on sustainability and intercultural collaboration for prospective teachers.

Structured around the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) model, the program covers key themes such as sustainability in education, integrating global perspectives into teaching practices, and online collaboration with international stakeholders.

Through this program, participants will:

  • Gain insight into the COIL model and its relevance in global education,
  • Connect with international educators within the framework of sustainable education,
  • Develop awareness of how to integrate global perspectives into the teaching profession.

School of Education will continue to support the participation of prospective teachers in international projects that foster their professional growth.
