The Workshop on Evaluating and Improving Education and Teaching Processes was held with the active participation of our faculty members.

As the School of Education, we actively participated in the Workshop on Evaluating and Enhancing of Teaching and Learning Processes to contribute to our university’s strategic vision for education.

The workshop held on October 21, 2025, began with the opening speech of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan, and the sessions were moderated by our University Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences, Prof. Dr. Özcan Erkan Akgün.

Our faculty’s academic staff took an active role throughout the day in the meetings and group discussions. During the workshop, our faculty members;

  • Analyzed the course satisfaction survey results from a pedagogical perspective.
  • Prepared self-evaluation reports within the scope of the new “Continuous Improvement System of Teaching and Learning".
  • Offered suggestions on updating teaching and learning approaches, strengthening assessment, evaluation processes, and enhancing the effectiveness of student feedback mechanisms.
  • Shared evaluations on the development of digital pedagogy, AI-enhanced teaching practices, and practice-based education models such as 7+1.

As the School of Education, we continue to contribute to the enhancement of our university’s educational quality, support the creation of innovative learning environments, and help provide our students with a high-quality educational experience. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all our faculty members who contributed to this comprehensive workshop aimed at improving the quality of learning and teaching.
