The event titled “Models of Education and Schooling Systems,” organized on Thursday, November 13, in collaboration with Ibn Haldun University and Başakşehir Municipality, was held with the contributions of our School of Education. The event featured our faculty members—Assoc. Prof. Nihal Yurtseven, Head of the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department, along with Assist. Prof. Adem Yurdunkulu and Assist. Prof. Mehmet Akın Bulut—as speakers. Our speakers provided a comparative evaluation of education systems implemented around the world and shared significant insights and analyses regarding the development areas of Türkiye’s education policies and and schooling models.

The event, designed to address current debates in the field of education and to evaluate various schooling models from an academic perspective, was enriched by participants’ questions and created a productive environment that contributed new insights to both academic and applied educational practices.

Our School of Education continues to strengthen and share its academic expertise through similar events that explore contemporary approaches in education.
