School of Education provided academic support to the “Basic Artificial Intelligence Training Program” in order to increase the competencies of research assistants in the field of artificial intelligence.

Ibn Haldun University School of Education made a significant contribution to the ‘Basic Artificial Intelligence Training Programme’ organised for the research assistants of our university. Dean of the School of Education Prof. Özcan Akgün and Res. Assist Nurevşah Kaya and Res. Assist Dilara Maraba took part as trainers in two sessions of the training programme.

The training program aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of research assistants in the field of artificial intelligence included sessions organized by our faculty members under the following topics:

Planning Learning and Teaching Processes with AI

This session provided an in-depth exploration of the integration of artificial intelligence into educational processes. Participants were informed about how AI-supported learning and teaching methods can be applied, how educational processes can be made more efficient, and how these technologies should be planned and implemented in the context of education.

AI-Supported Literature Review and Summarization Methods with SciSpace

In the second session, the focus was on how researchers can effectively and efficiently perform literature review and summarization tasks using AI-supported tools. Detailed information was provided on the literature review and summarization techniques using the SciSpace tool.

These training sessions aim to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can serve as an assisting tool in education and research processes, supporting the academic development of participants. Furthermore, the participants had the opportunity to utilize AI more effectively in their academic work through these trainings.
