Members of the School of Education at Ibn Haldun University, including undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni, gathered for an iftar dinner on March 11, 2025, at Başakşehir Külliyesi. Our Rector, Prof. Atilla Arkan, our Vice President and Dean of the School of Education, Prof. Özcan Erkan Akgün, and Head of the Department of Counseling and Psychological Guidance, Assist. Prof. Mehmet Akın Bulut, also attended the event and conversed with the academics and students.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, alumni, academics, and students enjoyed reconnecting after a long time. The discussions emphasized the importance of maintaining strong ties as the Ibn Haldun University family, staying in touch, and ensuring the continuity of such gatherings. Participants noted that these events are not just about sharing a meal but also serve as valuable opportunities to bring the faculty community together.
The evening continued with prayers and conversations, making it a pleasant and meaningful gathering for all. Faculty members expressed their wish to come together again in similar events in the coming years.
