The artificial intelligence-based project in which Assoc. Prof. A. Dilşad Yakut, one of our faculty members from the School of Education, took part as a researcher has been approved for funding.

TUBITAK-1001 Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Programme announced the projects that are entitled to receive funding. The project to be contributed by our School of Education faculty member Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Dilşad Yakut was also among the projects to receive funding.

The project entitled “An Artificial Intelligence-Based Educational Improvement: Designing, Implementing and Evaluating Reading Accuracy and Reading Speed Application (YAZTEK)”, which was entitled to receive funding by the TÜBİTAK-1001 The Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program, will be carried out in collaboration with Assist. Prof. Suna Özcan from İstanbul 29 Mayıs University, Assist. Prof. Ümit Demirbaga from Bartın University, Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Dilşad Yakut from Ibn Haldun University, Assist. Prof. Kübra Kırca-Demirbaga from the Ministry of National Education, Assist. Prof. Burcu Bektaş-Güneş from National Defence University, Assoc. Prof. Cenk Demiroğlu from Özyeğin University, Prof. M. Eyyüp Sallabaş from Yıldız Technical University, and Prof. Bayram Şahin from Istanbul Technical University. 

The project will serve to develop an artificial intelligence-supported application to improve the reading skills of students who have problems in reading accuracy, reading speed and reading comprehension skills. In addition, the project aims to make an improvement in the relevant processes designed according to the individual needs of the students.
