Assist. Prof. Nagehan Pakdamar Tüzgen, a faculty member at the School of Education at Ibn Haldun University, delivered a seminar titled “The Impact of Family Communication on Youth” on Thursday, November 6, at Güngören ITO Girls Anatolian Imam Hatip High School as part of the Parent Academy program for middle and high school parents. Assist. Prof. Pakdamar Tüzgen emphasized that the patterns of communication within the family have a direct influence on young people’s self-confidence, emotional resilience, and academic success. She also highlighted that understanding the emotional needs of young individuals and maintaining open communication with them strengthens family bonds.
During the seminar, parents were offered practical communication techniques applicable to daily life, strategies for conflict resolution, and suggestions for establishing healthy dialogue with their children.
