The Advisory Board of the Department of Educational Sciences convened to support the department's academic development. Many names participated in the meeting from our university and various other respected bodies.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Nihal Yapıcı, Head of the Department of Educational Sciences at Ibn Haldun University; faculty member Prof. Şener Büyüköztürk; Vice Head of Department Assist. Prof. Nagehan Pakdamar Tüzgen; Prof. Yusuf Alpaydın, Member of the Presidential Council for Education and Training Policies and faculty member at Marmara University Faculty of Education; Assoc. Prof. Ahmet Avcı from the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University; Assoc. Prof. Ayhan Öz, Director of the Education Policy Research Center (EPAM) at İLKE Foundation; Assist. Prof. Aydın Söylemez, teacher at Qatar Turkish School (Ministry of National Education); and Assist. Prof. İpek Coşkun Armağan, General Coordinator of Institute Social and Member of the Presidential Board for Social and Youth Policies.
During the meeting, topics such as improving educational activities, updating academic programs, and strengthening student-centered practices were discussed.
Participants shared their opinions and suggestions aimed at enhancing the quality of education and evaluated the future development of the faculty.
