Teachers' Day was celebrated at our university on November 24 with an event attended by our academicians and teachers. The November 24th Teachers' Day event, held at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, started with the opening speech of our Rector Prof. Atilla Arkan and was filled with sincere speeches by volunteer academics about their memories of teaching and emotional thanks from students.
In his welcoming speeches, Prof. Atilla Arkan stated that teachers are the most valuable assets of the society and thanked the academics at our University and all other teachers for their important role in education.
After Prof. Arkan's greeting speeches, the event continued with the speeches of volunteer academics about their memories of teaching, and the academics shared their memories of teaching in their careers and inspired students and colleagues.
The event ended with the students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences taking the floor and expressing their emotional thanks to their teachers and the distribution of gifts to the academics.
