The book "Economic and Social Reflections of Natural Disasters", in which our Faculty of Educational Sciences faculty member Assoc. Dr.Ayşe Dilşad Yakut wrote the chapter titled "Individuals with Special Needs and Disasters/Emergencies", has been published. The book was published by Detay Publishing.

The book, which deals with the effects of natural disasters on different fields, consists of different chapters that can be a guide in the field.

In the chapter titled "Individuals with Special Needs and Disasters/Emergencies" by Assoc. Dr. Ayşe Dilşad Yakut, the situation of individuals with special needs, who are among the groups most affected by disasters, is discussed in the context of pre-disaster, during and post-disaster needs.
