The Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling (GPC) at Ibn Haldun University’s School of Education organized a meet-and-greet event to foster connection and make an energetic start to the new term. Held on October 15, the 2025–2026 academic year orientation event began with opening remarks by Acting Dean Prof. Özcan Erkan Akgün, who addressed the students and shared the faculty’s vision, expectations for the new term, and upcoming initiatives. Following the opening, faculty members and students participated in an interactive activity titled “Find an Adjective That Describes You by Your Initial and Greet the Class.” Through this fun and engaging exercise, students had the opportunity to introduce themselves and strengthen their bonds with peers.
In the later part of the program, students and faculty members enjoyed pleasant conversations over a shared meal. Bringing together students from different year levels, the event strengthened the sense of unity and solidarity within the GPC family, making it a truly memorable start to the new academic year.
