With the start of the 2026–2027 academic year, faculty members from the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at the School of Education gathered with new students during the Orientation Days held on 15-16 September.
Held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the event provided faculty members and students with their first opportunity to meet face-to-face. As part of the program, faculty members shared their experiences and recommendations regarding university life, academic development processes, social opportunities, and the opportunities students may encounter in the coming semester. Students also had the chance to express their expectations, their excitement about the department, and the questions on their minds.
This meaningful gathering, which concluded with warm conversations and productive exchanges of ideas, not only strengthened our new students’ sense of belonging to the department but also helped future psychological counseling candidates embark on their academic and professional journeys with much greater self-confidence and motivation.
